Feeling reflective and anxious about the future

Love does not die easily.
It is a living thing.
It thrives in the face of all of life's hazards,
save one.......neglect.

Mary Poppins?

I like this lady and how she turned out. She looks pleased and a little wiser than some--as if she knows a secret.

A little bit of my 'art'

The man who has no imagination has no wings

a cold winter night

Here is a fun way to spend a cold winter evening. . . or a warm one if you are just wishing for a little snow. Have fun!

Lost & Found

Lets try this blog thing again. Has my life changed? No. I do have 2 dogs now and that is both fun and a pain but they always make me laugh and help get me out of bed on some mornings.

It's a new year and therefore a new beginning. Not much use reflecting on the year past since there wasn't too much that happen to reflect on.

But, I have begun to create a studio and have been working steadily to get everything unpacke and organized. Just before Christmas I captured a moment of inspiration and actually created a great gift for a friend with old family photos made into transparancies, sandwiched and soldered between glass. It was a successful experiment.

Dog Days

We're midway through summer and it is HOT! Can't seem to get into the mood to do much of anything--no inspiration.

I have been catching up on a lot of reading but I'm getting bored with that.

I "adopted" or "saved" more likely a dog in June. He is a big, black, gentle, doppy type of guy that makes me laugh every day. His name is Moses and looks to be half Border Collie and half black lab. Mostly he is just very happy to have won the doggie lottery and is livin the good life with an inside bed, and air conditioning, lots of toys, food and love.

He is my silly big boy and every evening he likes to go outside and "dance" with the June Bugs and Fireflys.
